Eagle West - Racing to Keep Up with Demand

Eagle West Racing Services was chosen by the Champ Car World Series to build the 1.973 mile temporary street circuit at the Edmonton municipal airport in the summer of 2006.

While barrier and safety fencing preparations for this event started well in advance of the race date, the actual assembly of track was done just a few days prior to the start of the racing weekend.

Once the race was completed, Eagle West Racing Services then dismantled the entire track and put all the track barrier and safety fencing components in storage, also in just a few days.

Eagle West will be back in 2007 again to rebuild the track and keep the Champ Car World Series running the streets of Edmonton.
