Working in conjunction with PCL Constructors Inc. and the City of Abbotsford, Eagle West took on a unique and highly detailed moving project; the relocation of the Abbotsford War Memorial.

To move this 50 plus year old stone obelisk it needed to be disassembled and removed from its base, but no plans or constructions documents existed. Eagle West had to reverse engineer the entire structure to be able to move it, and then reset the memorial into its new location at the Abbotsford City Hall.

This meaningful community project was done in part as a volunteer effort by both PCL Constructors Inc. and the Eagle West Industrial Moving Division on behalf of the Abbotsford Legion and its members who we value so much.
